English cake




Ingredients:
Cake:
1 cup (25 dag) of flour
1/2 cup (10 dag) of butter
2-3 tablespoons (4 dag) of cocoa
2/3 cup (15 dag) of powdered sugar
1/2 cup of milk
3 eggs
2 teaspoons of vanilla sugar
1-2 teaspoons of baking powder
Mixture:
1 cup (20 dag) of butter
1 cup (20 dag) of powdered sugar
1 cup of cream
vanilla aroma
Topping:
1 egg
2 tablespoons of cocoa
2 tablespoons of powdered sugar
1/2 cup (10 dag) of butter


Directions:

Beat butter with powdered sugar, vanilla sugar and yolks.

Mix flour with cocoa and baking powder. Then mix first mixture and add flour and warm milk. At the end add whipped whites. Mix gently.

Pour cake into greased form. Bake 30 minutes in 370-390 degrees F (190-200 degrees C). Cool it down.

Beat butter with powdered sugar and aroma. Add cream. Smear mixture on cake.

Whip egg with powdered sugar, add coca and melt butter. Mix as long as will be mixture. Cool it down. Pour on cake.

You shouldn't boil or fry it too long because it is likely to loose its specific flavour. Remember, if you will overcook it, it may becomes bitter.
