Potato salad




Ingredients:
3 pounds (1 1/2 kilograms) of potatoes
2-3 pickles
1/2 pound (25 dag) of cucumbers
1 pound (40 dag) of fresh apples
1-2 onions
Sauce:
1 medium jar of mayonnaise
3/4 cup of sour cream 18 %
1 tablespoon of vinegar
2 cloves of garlic
salt
sugar
parsley leaves

Directions:

Boil potatoes in 'coats', remove skin and cut into cubes. Remove skin from cucumbers, apples and onions and cut like potatoes. Mix the ingredients.

Prepare the sauce: clean the garlic and cut into small cubes. Mix with given ingredients. Mix the sauce with the salad.

Serve with different kinds of sausages or chops.

The recipe is for 6-8 portions.

Of course it can be without vinegar. Salads are freely modifiable and it can be even more tasty than in recipe. Recipes I create ar only my checked ideas, so Your invention is recommended.

You shouldn't boil or fry it too long because it is likely to loose its specific flavour. Remember, if you will overcook it, it may becomes bitter.

Garlic should be added into dishes at the end of its preparation.
