Sponge cake with poppy




Ingredients:
Poppy cake:
1 1/3 cup (30 dag) of poppy
1 cup (20 dag) of sugar
4 eggs
3 tablespoons of powdered bread
1 teaspoon of baking powder

Sponge cake:
4 eggs
2/3 cup (15 dag) of sugar
2/3 cup (15 dag) of flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 tablespoon of vinegar
almond aroma
Walnut mixture:
1/2 cup (10 dag) of chopped walnuts
2 cups (1/2 l) of milk
1 vanilla custard
2 tablespoons of flour
2 tablespoons of potato flour
1 cup (25 dag) of margarine
1/2 cup of powdered sugar
Decoration:
white chocolate topping


Directions:

Put poppy into pan with hot water. Filter and mill (3 times). Beat yolks with sugar, add poppy, powdered bread and whipped whites. Mix gently. Add delicacies. Pour mixture into greased form and bake 30 minutes in 320-340 degrees F (160-170 degrees C).

Make sponge cake (then bake in the same form): whip whites, add sugar and yolks. Then add flour, baking powder and vinegar. Mix. Bake 25 minutes in 320-340 degrees F (160-170 degrees C) C. Cool it down. Then sprinkle cake water mixed with almond aroma.

Boil 2 cups of milk. Mix chopped walnuts with powdered custard, flour, potato flour and 1/2 cup of milk. Then pour it into boiled milk. Boil. Cool mixture down.

Beat margarine with powdered sugar. Add mixture with milk. Put mixture on sponge cake, on it put poppy cake. Use topping to decorate.
