Sponge cake with strawberries




Ingredients:
Sponge cake:
4 eggs
2/3 cup of flour
2/3 cup of sugar
1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
Mixture:
1 cup of butter
2 eggs
2/3 cup of sugar
More:
2 pounds (1 kg) of strawberries
2 strawberry jellies


Directions:

Whip whites, add sugar then yolks. Mix. Then add flour and baking powder. Mix gently. Pour cake into greased form and bake 25 minutes in 340 degrees F (170 degrees C). Cool it down.

Whip eggs with sugar on steam. Cool it down. Mix butter, then add eggs mixture.

On sponge cake put mixture. Then put on it strawberries. Pour jelly on it (melt it in 3 cups of water). Cool cake down in fridge.

You shouldn't boil or fry it too long because it is likely to loose its specific flavour. Remember, if you will overcook it, it may becomes bitter.
