"upside down" cake




Ingredients:
Crisp cake:
1 1/3 cup (30 dag) of flour
2/3 cup (15 dag) of sugar
2/3 cup (15 dag) of margarine
4 yolks
4 tablespoons of cream
1 teaspoon of baking powder
Apple’s mixture:
9 apples
lemon powdered jelly
1/2 cup (10 dag) of sugar
Coconut’s mixture:
4 whites
2/3 cup (15 dag) of sugar
2/3 cup (15 dag) of desiccated cocnut
1 tablespoon of potato flour
Walnuts mixture:
4 eggs
2/3 cup (15 dag) of chopped walnuts
2/3 cup (15 dag) of sugar
2 tablespoons of powdered bread
1 tablespoon of flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
Decoration:
chocolate topping
desiccated coconut

Directions:

Make cake. Put into greased form of 10x14 inches (25x36 centimeters) dimension.

Pell apples, grate. Mix with sugar and stew 15 minutes. Then add jelly and boil. Cold it down. Put cold mixture on cake.

Whip whites, add desiccated coconut and flour. Put on apples mixture.

Whip whites, add sugar, chopped walnuts, powdered bread. Flour and baking powder. Mix. Put on coconut mixture.

Put into oven. Bake 50 minutes. Cool it down. Turn cake “ upside down”. Use topping and desiccated coconut to decorate.

You shouldn't boil or fry it too long because it is likely to loose its specific flavour. Remember, if you will overcook it, it may becomes bitter.
