- In a large bowl, stir together the blueberry pie filling, blueberries, lemon zest, lemon juice, vanilla, and salt.
- If berries are very juicy, stir in cornstarch to thicken.
- Taste and add sugar if desired.
- Pour the mixture into a buttered baking dish.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly on top.
- Drizzle melted butter all over the cake mix.
Baking
- Bake in a preheated oven until the top is golden and the edges are bubbling, about 30 to 35 minutes.
Notes
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for a delicious contrast. Leftovers can be reheated gently.
